BitAdvent is produced by a small editorial team that works as a collective. Rather than dress up our coverage with invented author personas, we publish under the honest banner of the BitAdvent Editorial desk and tell you exactly which functions stand behind the work.
The desks
- Markets desk — watches prices, moves and market structure, and turns live data into clear, useful context rather than noise.
- Guides desk — writes and maintains our plain-English explainers and how-to guides, and keeps them accurate as the space changes.
- Data & Charts desk — builds and checks the pipelines behind our prices, market caps and charts, and documents exactly how they work in our methodology.
- Standards & Ethics desk — owns our editorial guidelines and ethics policy, reviews sensitive coverage, and handles corrections.
How we work
Every piece is checked against our published standards before it is released. We source our claims, separate news from analysis and opinion, and correct openly when we are wrong. Editorial oversight sits with the desk as a whole, not with any commercial interest.
Why we publish as a collective
Some sites invent a roster of named “experts” with stock-photo faces to look more authoritative than they are. We think that is dishonest, and it is exactly the kind of thing we exist to push back against. Our accountability is to our published standards and to you, the reader — not to a fictional byline. When our team grows and real, named contributors join us, we will introduce them here properly, with genuine credentials.
