BitAdvent is an independent crypto publication. We cover Bitcoin, Ethereum and the wider digital-asset market with live data, plain-English explainers and clear-eyed analysis — showing what is happening, why it matters and what is on the horizon.

Why we exist

Too much crypto media is either breathless hype or copy-pasted filler designed to sell you something. Prices are quoted without context, “news” is often a press release in disguise, and complexity is used to intimidate rather than to inform. We started BitAdvent to do the opposite: to be a calm, honest, data-grounded place for people who want to understand crypto without being sold a dream. Our name is a nod to “first light” — a clear view at the start of the day, before the noise sets in.

What makes us different

Three things. First, we are data-first: our market figures come from public, keyless exchange feeds, and we show exactly how we calculate them on our methodology page. Second, we are honest about uncertainty — if we do not have a reliable number, we leave it blank rather than invent one. Third, we do not fabricate anything: not a price, not a quote, not a screenshot, and not a fake roster of “expert” authors with stock-photo faces.

How we work

Every article is checked against our published editorial guidelines before it goes out. We separate news from analysis and opinion, we source our claims, and we correct openly when we get something wrong. Where we criticise, we do it fairly; where we are unsure, we say so.

How we are funded

Like most independent publishers, BitAdvent may earn a commission from some links to products or services. We disclose this openly, and it never buys coverage or changes our verdict — see our affiliate disclosure. Our first duty is to readers, not advertisers, and when those interests conflict, readers win.
