Staking Intermediate
Staking is locking up a proof-of-stake coin to help secure its network, earning a reward for doing so.
Stakers help validate transactions and are paid a yield in return. Rewards vary, and staking can come with lock-up periods plus technical and "slashing" risks — so advertised yields are never guaranteed.
